Terms and conditions

1. Terminology Definition
  1. "Exhibitors" means companies, co-operations and groups that have submitted booth applications to participate in the 2010 KCTA Digital Cable TV Show.
  2. "Exhibition" means the name on the top of the contract.
  3. "Organizer" means Korea Cable TV Association(KCTA) and "Secretariat" means 2010 KCTA Exhibition Office.
  4. "2010 KCTA" means to the 8th "2010 KCTA Digital Cable TV Show".
2. Booth Allocation
  1. Organizer's booth allocating is based on the order of the receiving date of deposit credit transfer memorandum, size of the exhibits, previous years' performance experience, composition of the booths and the nature of the exhibit.
  2. If necessary, the organizers can re-allocate the booth location, prior to the show opening. Booth Allocating is utterly organizers' capability and exhibitors cannot ask for any compensation for the relocation.
3. Contract, Application and Booth Fee
  1. All the documents of the application and contract must be submitted to the organizers.
  2. A deposit -50% of the total booth fee- should be done paying within 7 days from the day of submission for the booth application form.
  3. The balance -50% of the total booth fee and utility service charge- must be paid to those who are mentioned on the manual document by Feb. 19th, 2010.
4. Installation and Take-out
  1. Installation and take-out of the booth must be done according to the schedule that has set by the organizers.
  2. Exhibitors should compensate the organizers for every expenditure that occurs due to the delay of exhibits from the halls, except in the case that the loss happens after the halls' closing time.
5. Insurance, Security and Safety
  1. Exhibitor must insure all the exhibit items during the exhibition period.
  2. The organizers will provide sufficient level of the security to protect the goods of the exhibitors and spectators but responsibility for any loss of exhibit items ultimately falls onto the exhibitor.
6. Payment
  1. The total booth fee includes floor space, security, cleaning of aisles, provision of information such as the 2010 KCTA Show directory and opening ceremony of the 2010 KCTA Show.
7. Limitation on Exhibit Items and Booth Management
  1. Exhibitors are only allowed to display items manifested on the application and contract documents. In addition, the organizers can enforce restriction on exhibit items that do not match the nature of the 2010 KCTA Show.
  2. Exhibitors also cannot make sales at both of the exhibition hall and conference hall.
8. Cancellation Regulations
  1. In the event of the following four incidents happen, the organizer can cancel the contract one-way and none of the booth fee is refundable.

    A. In case of the exhibitor refuses or disagrees to use of allocated booths or space.
    B. In case of the exhibitor has not done paying the total booth fee by Feb. 19th, 2010.
    C. In case of the exhibitor gives up exhibition participation.
    D. In case of the exhibitor fails to comply with 2010 KCTA Show regulations set by organizers.
  2. If the exhibitor is planning to cancel the contract, it should be applied in writing and the booth fee is refundable gradually as follow. In addition, in case of the following incidents happen, the organizers can forfeit the booth fee as mentioned.

    A. A cancellation happens till Thursday Dec. 31th 2009, 30% of the total booth fee is forfeited.
    B. A cancellation happens till Friday Jan. 29th 2010, 50% of the total boot fee is forfeited.
    C. A cancellation happens from Friday Jan. 29th 2010, 100% of the total booth fee is forfeited.
  3. From Monday Feb. 22th 2010, the exhibitor cannot cancel the contract in principle. The exhibitor should pay 100% of the total booth fee to the organizer if the exhibitor cancel a contract from Feb. 21th 2010 on.
9. Natural Disasters
  1. The organizers are not liable for the compensation in the events of the inevitable change due to emergent states like natural disasters or convulsion of nature and other acts of God.
  2. The organizers may move amendments to exhibitors when the organizer deems exhibitor need to comply necessarily with such amendments set by organizer.
  3. KCTA 2009 Secretariat reserves the right to alter, to add, or to amend any of these conditions.
10. Resolution of the Contention
  1. Korea commercial arbitration Board is mediated with exhibitors and the organizers if any contentions happen between exhibitors and the organizers. The resolution will bind both parties.
KCTA 2010 Secretariat considers that all the applicants who apply for the exhibition have read all the above Terms & Conditions and observe it.
