KCTA, which has 107 SOs and 66 channels as members, seek balanced development of the broadcasting industry in the era of the fusion of broadcasting and telecommunication through surveys, research and development of technology. Ever since its inception in 1993, the Association has been raising and resolving diverse issues, including technology, laws and regulations, content and high definition digital concerning cable channels, while providing far-reaching institutional assistance. In addition, the Association has been pushing for a mid- and long-term strategy for development to strengthen our working relationships, and to promote the interests and welfare of the member companies.
